Bobby Jamieson, Senior Pastor
Bobby Jamieson grew up with believing parents and came to faith through hearing the gospel at a youth retreat when he was in 6th grade. He and his wife, Kristin, are both originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. From 2017–2024, the Jamiesons lived in Washington, DC, where Bobby served as an associate pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church. Bobby has an MDiv and ThM from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a PhD in New Testament from the University of Cambridge. He is the author of several books, most recently Biblical Reasoning: Christological and Trinitarian Rules for Exegesis (co-authored with Tyler Wittman), and Everything Is Never Enough: Happiness According to Ecclesiastes (forthcoming). Bobby has taught at several seminaries, including Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary. He and Kristin have four children, Rose, Lucy, William, and Margaret.
Michael Abraham, Associate Pastor
Michael Abraham was raised by parents who taught him the gospel and through their witness, God saved him at a young age. He is originally from the Midwest (Kansas City) but from 2017–2024 he lived in the Middle East (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) where he served as an associate pastor of Covenant Hope Church since 2020. He has an MDiv and ThM from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently a PhD student in Systematic Theology there. In 2023, Michael completed a pastoral internship at Capitol Hill Baptist Church. Michael and his wife, Hanna, have three children, Holden, Shepherd, and Piper.
Joe Byrd, Pastoral Assistant
Joe was saved at an early age hearing the gospel from his Sunday School teacher at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane, North Carolina. It was there that his heart for ministry took root. He completed his bachelor's in marketing and finance at Elon University where he served as a leader of Campus Outreach. After graduation, Joe worked in cyber security sales. He is an MDiv student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Kimberly are praying about international church planting one day.
Brian Miller, College Ministry Resident
Brian was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. It was through the witness of his parents, as well as many others who faithfully preached and displayed the gospel to him, that the Lord brought him from death to life in Jesus Christ. Brian and his wife, Michelle, are both from Raleigh and attended UNC-Chapel Hill. After playing baseball at UNC, Brian played seven years professionally in the Miami Marlins organization. Throughout his life, the Lord grew Brian’s aspirations for pastoral ministry, and he’ll be serving in college ministry on the nearby campuses. Brian is also an MDiv student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Michelle have two children, Kendall and Anderson.
